PURPOSE:To display a column and a record group in a list which exceeds the physical picture of a display at a time by employing a folding function for the list when the list of size larger than the picture of the display is generated. CONSTITUTION:Lists T1 and T2 are displayed on the display 1 and a command like theta shown by a dotted line is inputted to a corresponding part of the list T1 to be folded. The 1st T1 and its fields to be folded are decided by detecting the command theta, so the fields given the command theta and fields between them are detected and the respective fields 'Japanese name', 'communication', and 'format' are displayed in a folded state like a list T1', so that fields for level, interruption, storage, return value mode, etc., are inputted accurately.
