PURPOSE:To automate the re-supply function of raw material by a method wherein a curved frame, from the lower supplying position of the raw material to the upper discharging position of the same, is provided with an elevating device, buckets and a bucket driving device elevatably. CONSTITUTION:Material is thrown into the bucket 28 of a bucket device 13, waiting for the supply of the material at a position (a) and the bucket device 13 is elevated by operating a motor 17 for elevating while a bucket turning motor 31 is operated in accordance with the ascending movement of the bucket device 13 to control the bucket 28 so as to be kept horizontally at all times. A bucket driving device 16, moved to a material discharging position (b), is stopped by an upper limit switch 37, then, the bucket turning motor 31 is operated to turn the bucket 28 by 180 deg. and throw the material on the bucket 28 into the material throwing port 14A of a steam roller 14. The bucket 28 is turned to return it to the original position, thereafter, the bucket device 13 is descended to the material supplying position (a) while controlling the posture of the bucket 28 and is stopped by a lower limit switch 37, then, the bucket device 13 is kept waiting until the conveyance of the subsequent material.
