PURPOSE:To share a display part, etc., and to miniaturize the same by displaying a speed set on a display part in a speed range corresponding to respective controlled system. CONSTITUTION:A speed setting and inputting device is constituted by connecting a CRT monitor 2, a write pen 3, a keyboard 4 to a central processing unit (CPU) 1, and performs the setting of a motion speed for a robot 5 which performs a multiple spindle motion in respective axis direction. And when a start-up operation is performed from a keyboard 4, a display part 6 to select the respective axis of the robot 5, a display part 7 to decide the maximum speed of a control axis, and a display part 8 to set and display a set speed on arrow figure 9, are displayed as shown in figure on the CRT monitor 2. In this way, a speed range is designated by selecting one axis out of the axes, and based on this, a scale is displayed on arrow figure 9, and the optional position of arrow figure 9 is indicated on the scale with the write pen 3. As a result, the position of the scale is set as the speed. |
