PURPOSE:To reduce the extent of slippage in the center of a lighting range to the momentary forward direction as well as to improve safety on the occasion of cornering at time of night driving, by making the lighting direction variable timing of a headlamp at the steering direction side quicker than that of the opposite steering direction. CONSTITUTION:When right steering is started, an up signal corresponding to a wheel steered variable is inputted into an up-down counter 2, and if the count value comes to the value corresponding to 5 deg. at a steering angle, decoder/drivers 3 and 4 advance a '0' level signal and deliver it to output terminals 3i and 4i. If so, a level of a connecting terminal 5-5 at the side of the decoder/driver 3 is more advanced than a connecting terminal 5-4, coming to a '0' level, whereby a lighting direction of a right headlamp is varied to a deflection angle of right 10 deg., but another lighting direction of a left headlamp is left directed to the front intact. Furthermore if the right steering takes place at an angle 10 deg., the left headlamp is varied to a deflection angle at right 10 deg.. Thus, the lighting direction of the left headlamp is varied by degrees as going after that of the right headlamp. |
