PURPOSE:To erase a noise on a line, and to improve picture quality, by executing a prescribed arithmetic operation that makes correlation among lines minimum, and changing a pixel value based on an arithmetic result. CONSTITUTION:When a noise component based on the change of the pixel value is overlapped on an optional line on a restored image, a leading address corresponding to the noise component of the line is designated by a console part 4. In this way, a picture data correcting means 6 fetches the pixel value of each of addresses after the leading address up to the completing point of the line, and each pixel value in the line correlative to the line, and executes an error arithmetic operation by which the correlation in each line is made minimum, based on the above values. Respective pixel value corresponding to the address after the leading address up to the completing point of the line, when the correlation is made minimum, is adapted as respective pixel value for displaying the address after designated address. |
