<p>PURPOSE:To easily perform an initialization, by outputting a reset signal by operating a specific key on a keyboard, when some abnormal operation is generated in a one-chip microcomputer (hereinafter referred to as microcomputer) built in the keyboard. CONSTITUTION:The arithmetic part 1 and a keyboard 2 in a personal computer are separated from each other, and are connected by a bus line. The keyboard 2 consists of an interface circuit 3 connected to the arithmetic part 1, a decode circuit 4, a microcomputer 5, and a key matrix 6. Then, an AND circuit 7, a switch 8, an OR circuit 9, in inverter 10, a resistor 11, a capacitor 12, and a diode 13, are provided. In this way, a microcomputer 5 is reset from the capacitor 12, through the inverter 10, and the OR circuit 9, when a power source is thrown in, and also, it is possible to perform the initialization by generating the reset signal operating the specific key (switch 8) on the keyboard when some abnormal state is generated in the microcomputer 5.</p> |
