PURPOSE:To easily access to a large storage area, by making a register which loads a bit of page information and an in-page address, and a page register which loads the bit of page information from the register into an on-chip, with an internal ROM, etc. CONSTITUTION:On a signal processor 1 into which a ROM2, and a program counter 3, etc. are made the on-chip, with an arithmetic circuit, etc., a register 4 which loads the bit of page information, and the in-page address, and a register 5 which loads the bit of page information from the register 4, are made into the on-chip. An external ROM6 in which a page allocation is performed with the ROM2, is provided by connecting to the address bus of the ROM2, and a data bus, and a page switching between the ROMs 2 and 6 is performed by the bit of page information loaded at the page register 5.
