PURPOSE:To obtain a document feeding belt which is uniformly brought into contact with a document while having sufficient strength by laminating a film on an nonwoven fabric formed by three-dimensionally entwined fiber by means of fluid, and providing a coating layer chiefly made of synthetic resin, etc. on its surface. CONSTITUTION:A fluid entwined nonwoven fabric 2 is obtained by placing, e.g., a fiber web on a supporting body, handling it with a water stream jetted out of a nozzle, and three-dimensionally entwining the fiber in the web. The tearing strength in the longitudinal direction of this fluid entwined nonwoven fabric 2 is desirably at least 0.5kg and, normally, it is preferable to be more than 1.0kg. And, a film 3 is laminated on this nonwoven fabric 2 while a coating layer 4 chiefly made of synthetic rubber or synthetic resin is provided on the surface of the film 3, to hold and accurately convey a document. Also, in the coating layer 4, an inorganic filler such as clay, titanium oxide active China clay talc, etc. are contained.
