PURPOSE:To form a fog-free sharp image by using a toner containing a positively electrifiable compound having specified oxidation potential, a specified whiteness, and a specified an average particle diameter. CONSTITUTION:The toner contains a positively electrifiable compound having an oxidation potential of <=750mV, a whiteness W of >=0.5, and a weight average particle diameter of <=3.0mum. The addition of said compound high in positive electrifiability and good in whiteness to the toner in a state of extremely small powder permits the toner small in particle diameter and high and uniform triboelectrifiability characteristics to be formed and a development method having extremely effective characteristics to be obtained, and a fog-free sharp high-quality image to be obtained by the uniform triboelectrification distribution of the toner. |
