PURPOSE:To reduce a time until the operation of a device is started up, by making the setting of the content to be monitored of a system into a table, and assembling a system monitoring program which decodes the table sequentially. CONSTITUTION:A monitor device 20 to which a programmable controller (PC) 10, a keyboard 30, and a CRT 28 are connected, is constituted of a main CPU 21, a communication CPU 22, a monitoring logic table 24, and a display program 25, etc. In this way, the monitor device 20 performs the monitoring of the bit of information of the PC 10 collected at a two-port memory 23 by the communication CPU 22 based on the monitoring logic table 24. As a result, the display program 25 is started up when the generation of abnormality is detected, by a corresponding monitor signal 40 and a prescribed display is displayed on the CRT 28. Also, the monitoring logic table 24 can be registered and changed from the keyboard 30. |
