PURPOSE:To prevent the lowering of strength by a method in which an end plate is fixed to the upside of the head of a concrete pile with its head reaching the bearing stratum of the ground and reinforcing bars for reinforced concrete of the upper body are fixed to the end plate of the pile head. CONSTITUTION:While a prestressed type concrete pile 10 reaches the bearing stratum of the ground, the head of the pile 10 is exposed on the foundation bottom. An annular end plate 11 for pile head is welded or clamped with screw nuts to the frame beam 15 of the pile 10, and the tip of the axial beam 4a as the component of reinforced concrete 4 for the upper body is welded or clamped with screw nuts to the upside of the end plate 11 to integrally connect the end plate 11 with the pile 10. Hoop beams are attached to the beam 4a and concrete 4c is placed to complete the connection. The connection work can thus be integrally performed without the needs for cutting or breaking the head of the pile 10, and the lowering of strength can be prevented.
