PURPOSE:To produce the titled sanitary food sealed in an easily openable package, by rolling a raw material for OSHIZUSHI (vinegared rice topped with seasoned raw fish meat and pressed to a rectangular parallelepiped form) in a packaging film and sealing both ends of the hollow cylindrical part of the film. CONSTITUTION:A block of cooked and formed rice 8 having a definite weight and topped with a topping 9 such as ham, vinegared mackerel meat, etc., is laced on a rolling sheet 10 interposing a transparent packaging film 1 therebetween. The sheet 10 is rolled to wrap the OSHIZUSHI raw material 2 composed of the topping 9 and the cooked rice 8 with the film 1 in cylindrical form and hollow cylindrical parts 1a are formed at both sides of the cylinder. The material 2 is supplied to a rectangular parallelepiped female mold 3 placed on a transfer member 11 and compression molded with a male mold 4 to obtain an OSHIZUSHI-type food 2' having a flat rectangular parallelepiped shape. The hollow cylindrical parts 1a of the film 1 positioned at both sides of the food 2' are folded inward, the folds 1C are folded downward and sealed. |
