PURPOSE:To maintain tension applied to a yarn to a low and stable level, to improve the appearance of pirn and to prevent end breakage, etc., in the high-speed spinning of a thermoplastic synthetic fiber yarn, by collecting spun filaments and bending the yarn with two guides at a specific angle. CONSTITUTION:Melt-spun filaments are collected and taken up at a speed of >=5,000m/min. In the above process, the spun yarn 6 is collected and bent at an angle theta (about 5-25 deg.) with two guides 1, 2. The first guide 1 is positioned preferably 5-30cm under the point to complete the thinning of the yarn and the distance between the first guide 1 and the second guide 2 is preferably about 30cm.
