摘要 PURPOSE:To produce weak flow by a simple structure and to wash tea raw leaves continuously at improved treatment capacity without requiring complicated mechanism and control, by floating bubbles generated in a pipe connecting an opening of a starting bottom end of water channel in a water tank to an end to an opening of a starting end. CONSTITUTION:A motor 16 of a tea leaf washer 1 is driven, a screw 17 is rotated through a motor shaft 16a, a pulley belt and a screw shaft 17a, water in a communicating pipe 12 of a water tank 3 on a machine frame 2 is pushed out to a water supply opening 10, water is supplied to a discharge pipe 11 to discharge sand and mud which are not removed by a sand and mud precipitating channel 9 to generate water flow. On the other hand, bubbles are produced from a great number of jetting holes 20 through an air guide pipe 19 connecting compressed air from an air pump 21 to a piping 22, an opening of starting bottom end of water channel and an end and the water flow is stirred. Then, raw tea leaves are fed from a leaf feeder 38 to the water tank 3, the leaves are repeatedly floated and settled in the stirred water flow, attached sand and mud are washed away, the tea leaves are picked up by a belt conveyer 4, finishing water from a second filter tank 32 of a water feeder system 6 also used for feeding finishing water is sprayed through a water supply pump 34, a water supply pipe 28 and a water sprinkling pipe 26 from a great number of water sprinkling holes 27 and the leaves are washed and dehydrated by a dehydrator 39.
