PURPOSE:To spread a heat exchange area and to maintain the safety of a heater when it is heated with no fuel to be heated, by constituting the heater sealing a sheathed heater pipe, which seals a heat generating wire with an insulating dust, in a metallic material and forming a fuel passage, which communicates with a filter, in said heater. CONSTITUTION:Fuel is allowed to flow into a fuel filter 1 from a fuel supply port 2, and the fuel, which is heated while it passes through a hollow passage part 8 of a fuel heating heater 5 of aluminum material heated by an internally built-in sheathed heater 6, decreases the viscosity increasing the fluidity. Consequently, the fuel, when it passes through filters 4, is prevented from causing blocking. While the fuel, which is heated by a metallic material sealed with a sheathed heater pipe, enables also a heat exchange area to be spread, further surface density of electric power small decreases because of wide area of a fuel heating heater part, thus a surface temperature of the fuel heater, when it is heated with no fuel to be heated, can be suppressed to the fuel firing temperature or less.
