PURPOSE:An adhesive, obtained by adding a specific amount of sorbitan ester of a fatty acid (derivative) to an adhesive resin consisting essentially of an acrylic resin and used as surface protective sheets, etc., of metal plates, e.g. stainless steel plates, etc., wallboards, decorative boards, glass plates, etc. CONSTITUTION:An adhesive obtained by adding 0.03-10pts.wt. preferably 0.5-5 pts.wt. sorbitan ester (derivative) of a fatty acid, e.g. sorbitan monolaurate, etc., to (A) 100pts.wt. adhesive resin consisting essentially of an acrylic resin, e.g. alkyl (meth)acrylate as a main constituent component. A crosslinking agent, e.g. isocyanate based compound, etc., is normally blended with the adhesive.
