PURPOSE:To obtain sufficient color developing property of the titled material by color developing it with a developer which does not substantially contain benzyl alcohol for a short time of <=2.5min by incorporating at least one kind of a specific compd. or a salt thereof to the titled material. CONSTITUTION:The titled material is processed with the developer which does not substantially contain benzyl alcohol, and contains at least one kind of the compd. shown by formula (I) or (II) or the salt thereof for <=2.5min after image- wisely exposing it. In formula (I) R<1>, R<2>, R<5> and R<6> are each hydrogen or alkyl group, R<3> and R<4> are each hydrogen atom or -COOR<7>, (R<7> is alkyl group). In formula (II), R<1> is hydrogen atom, methyl or ethyl group, R<2> is a substituent, (n) is 0, 1 or 2. The meaning of substantially contg. no benzyl alcohol is a concentration of <=2.0ml/l, preferably <=0.5ml/l benzyl alcohol, and more preferably, is the meaning that does not entirely contain benzyl alcohol. |
