METHOD FOR REMOVING BACTERIA FROM WATER-SOLUBLE METAL PROCESSING OIL AGENT

PURPOSE:To remove bacteria from an oil agent, by mounting a relay tank having a reticulated body received therein in a piping system and collecting the suspended substance in the oil agent by the reticulate body while forming slime. CONSTITUTION:A water-soluble cutting oil agent is sent to a relay tank 3 by a pipe 2 to be sent to a storage tank 4. A metal net 5 made of stainless steel is received in the relay tank 3 and collects the suspended substance and cut refuse in the sent liquid. Bacteria propagate on the surface of the collected suspended substance and the suspended substance is adhered to the surface thereof and viscous slime is formed to the metal net 5 while said operation is repeated to remove bacteria in the liquid. The oil agent from which bacteria are removed is taken out from the storage tank 4 by a pump P and sent to a cutting machine I through a pipe 6 to be recirculated for reuse.
