PURPOSE:To cool a heat generation section effectively by causing a coolant flow through flow paths in the circumferential direction formed among the inner walls of front and rear brackets and the back of a shroud body and partially branching the coolant and permitting it flow through a branched flow path. CONSTITUTION:A coolant at a low temperature for an engine for a VEHICLE is branched partially, is caused to flow from an incurrent pipe 28, flows as shown in the arrow through flow paths 32a, 32b, cools a stator core 10 and a stator coil 11 and its own temperature is elevated, is permitted to flow out of an excurrent pipe 29, and is returned to the return path side of a coolant circulating system path for the engine. One part of the coolant flowing into the flow path 32b from the incurrent pipe 28 flows as shown in the arrow through a branched flow path 32c from a branching hole 30b, cools a rectifier 16 and a voltage regulator 17 through a cooling cover 32, and is returned to its midway of the flow path 32b.
