The subject of the invention relates to the technical field of insulation means. This device successively comprises, superimposed, from a hot medium A to a cold medium B: - a first wall 1 whose face 1a situated on the side of the hot medium A is made from a reflective material, whereas the other face 1b is made from a material which is shaped so as to absorb all the radiation received and transform it into heat; - a space 2 containing a gas at low pressure; - a second wall 3 whose face 3a situated on the side of the separation space 2 is made from a reflecting material, whereas the other face 3b, situated on the side of the cold medium B, is made from a material shaped so as to absorb all the radiation received and transform it into heat. <IMAGE>
