PURPOSE:To prevent the humidity in the inside of a disk enclosure caused at the start of magnetic disk rotation from being increased by connecting a case incorporated with a humidity absorbing agent to a breather filter. CONSTITUTION:The case 6 incorporating a humidity absorbing agent 7 and having vent holes 8 directed toward the inside of the disk enclosure 1 is connected to the breathing filter 4, and when a magnetic disk 2 starts its rotation by a spindle motor 9 and a magnetic disk drive mechanism 3, an external air passes through the humidity absorbing agent 7 via vent holes 5 of the filter 4 and suctioned in the inside of the disk enclosure 1 through vent holes 8. After the external air is de-humided by the humidity absorbing agent 7, the air is suctioned in the inside of the disk enclosure.
