PURPOSE:To simplify the composition of a ground clearance sensor and improve precision in its rough road judgment by connecting in common one end of the ground clearance sensor having plural reference positions dislocated in vertical direction, and successively scanning its other end to pick out a signal from a common signal line and judge the ground clearance from the said signal, and then judging load roughness from frequency in the dislocation of the ground clearance. CONSTITUTION:A ground clearance sensor a is composed of lead switches SWA-SWF. One ends of each pair of the lead switches SWA and SWB, SWC and SWD, and SWE and SWF are connected with common lines COM1, COM2, and COM3 respectively, and the other ends of SWA, SWC, and SWE are connected in common to output a LOW signal, and the other ends of SWB, SWD, and SWF are connected in common to output a HIGH signal. The common lines COM1-COM3 are successively scanned to detect an output state of the HIGH and LOW signals and judge road roughness from the said state. Therefore, the above constitution can simplify the composition of the ground clearance sensor, and improve precision in its rough road detection. |
