PURPOSE:To enable the inspection of a nozzle part in parallel to other operation floor work and to enhance operability, by integrally rotating a flaw detection arm to the peripheral direction of a nozzle along with a flaw detection mechanism assembly. CONSTITUTION:A support stand 101 suspending an extensible rod 102 is fixed to the upper flange 1a of a nuclear reactor pressure vessel 1 and a nozzle inspection device 103 is provided to the lower end of the extensible rod 102. The flaw detection mechanism assembly inserted in the nozzle 1 of the vessel 1 is mounted to the nozzle inspection device 103 and fixed to the center position in the nozzle 2 by a fixing mechanism 111. A flaw detection arm base 112 moved to the axial direction of the nozzle 2 by a nozzle axial direction drive mechanism 113 is provided to the assembly 110. A flaw detection arm 114 is provided on the flaw detection arm base 112 in a freely extensible manner and integrally rotated to the peripheral direction of the nozzle 2 along with the assembly 110 by a rotary mechanism 115. The probe package 116 provided to the leading end of the flaw detection arm 114 is pressed to a surface to be inspected by a press mechanism 17 to perform flaw detection.
