PURPOSE:To reduce a friction coefficient and to easily and strongly fix to an elastic member by forming a surface layer abutting against a magnetic tape of the layers forming a pad of a porous synthetic resin. CONSTITUTION:There is provided the elastic member 3 supported by a cassette 1 and formed in a belt shape, the pad 4 is fixed outward substantially at the center of the member 3, and the tape 2 is elastically pressed to a magnetic head inserted into an opening part 1a. The pad 4 consists of the two layers respectively made of porous polyethylene and in the layer 4a abutting against the inner side surface of the tape 3, an anti static agent composed of a lubricant and a surface active agent is impregnated. A surface 3a of substantially the same shape as the pad 4 is formed in a part abutting against the pad 4 of the member 3 and a bonding agent layer 5 is formed between the layer 4b of the pad 4 and the surface 3a. According to a material impregnated in the layer 4a, the friction coefficient during the slide contact of the tape 3 is reduced and the electrostatic charge is prevented.
