PURPOSE:To display a three-dimensional body efficiently by photoirradiation method by dividing a screen into, for example, KL unit screens, dividing each unit screen into mn pieces of small areas each consisting of ab pieces of picture elements, and assigning one processor to each small area. CONSTITUTION:The screen 1 is divided into the small areas 11, 12,... each consisting of ab picture elements and mn pieces of small areas 11, 12,... are put together into one unit area 11' to obtain KL unit areas; and a three- dimensional space 4 where a model to be displayed is present is also divided into quadrangular prism areas 4a at the time of parallel projection or quadrangular prism areas 4b at the time of transmission projection and those prism areas are allowed to corresponding to ab pieces of picture elements 11, 12,... respectively. Then, one processor is assigned to each of the small areas 11, 12,... each consisting of ab picture elements, and the body in the three-dimensional space 4 corresponding to the KL unit screens is displayed by the photoirradiation method by using mn pieces of processors.
