PURPOSE:To automatically turn off a power source when it is judged that turning-off of the power source is forgotten, by providing a timer which is reset with an oscillation detection signal or a tripod detection signal and operates a switching circuit to turn off a power line when a certain time elapses after reset. CONSTITUTION:When a camera body is shaken transversely or longitudinally, an oscillation detecting switch 18 is turned on and off repeatedly by movement of mercury 20. When a tripod 68 is set to a tripod attaching part 58, a tripod switch 27 is turned on because a tripod screw 69 pushes up a tripod detecting member 67, and the tripod detection signal is inputted to a reset terminal R of a counter 26, and the counter 26 is stopped at 0 as it is. If the camera is left as it is with a main switch 10 turned on, it is detected whether the tripod is set or not and whether the camera body is shaken or not; and if the camera is left in the still state for a prescribed time without setting the tripod, it is judged that the camera is in the unused state, and an output terminal D of the counter 26 goes to the high level, and an unuse signal is inputted to a control circuit 30.
