摘要 PURPOSE:To prevent the separation of the part of increased thickness and improve the tensile strength of the titled tube end structure by a method wherein long fibers, extended from the end of a tubular body, are turned to form the part of increased thickness and are fixed to the end of the tubular body or a fiber reinforced plastic layer is added thereto by winding it around the outside of the part of increased thickness. CONSTITUTION:The tubular body 1 of a fiber reinforced plastic tube is reinforced by the long fibers 2 of substantially axial direction and substantially circumferential fibers 3. The end of the tube is loosened or split along the axis of the tube and the long fibers 2, split and extended into the longitudinal direction of the tube, are turned reversely and bonded to the tubular body 1 whereby the bent part of increased thickness 12 is formed. Then, a fiber reinforced plastic layer 14 is added by winding it around the outside of the part of increased thickness. Due to the effect of the long fibers in the reinforced plastic layer 14, thus added by winding, and the bent part of increased thickness 12, which functions as a stopper, an interlayer separation may be prevented in case the tube end receives a tension.
