PURPOSE:To automatize a substitution for substitute elements, such as a program, a picture data, a file, and terminal information, etc., by providing a substitute element managing table, a substitute element setting means, a substitution possible/impossible setting means, a substitution request means, and a substitute element managing means. CONSTITUTION:The titled system is constituted of a substitute element setting means 1, a substitution possible/impossible setting means 2, a substitute element managing means 3, a substitution request means 4, and a substitute element managing table 10. When necessity of the substitution is generated, the substitution request means 4 writes a next substitute element managing data 16 on the substitute element managing table 10, and informs a substitution process to the substitute element managing means 3. The substitute element managing means 3 judges whether it is possible or not to substitute a substitute element name 11 requested to substitute, by a substitution possible/impossible 14, and when it is possible, the present substitute element managing data 15 is substituted for the next substitute element managing data 16, and the substituted element managing data 16 is returned to its initial state. Also, when the substitution is impossible, the substitution by the next substitute element managing data 6 is performed after the setting of substitution 'possible' of the substitution possible/impossible 14 by the substitution possible/impossible setting means 2, and informing of the fact to the substitute element managing means 3.
