PURPOSE:To realize a transfer and a fixation by one process, and to make the whole device small in size by heating a magnetic material by a heating means which has been provided on the opposite side of a transfer surface, and fixing a coloring material to a transfer paper, at the time of making a magnetic latent image on the surface of the magnetic material absorb the coloring material, and transferring it. CONSTITUTION:As for a magnetic latent image which has been formed by using a magnetic head 13 on a magnetic material of a magnetic drum 11, a magnetic toner 15 is made to stick onto it by a developing device 17, and the latent image becomes a visible image. Thereafter, this visible image contacts usual paper 25 by a feed paper roller 23 and a magnetic drum 11. This contact part is heated by a halogen lamp 27, brought to a temperature rise up to a curie point of the magnetic material and its magnetic force is lost, and the magnetic toner 15 is transferred to the usual paper 25. By the halogen lamp 27, the magnetic toner 15 and the usual paper 25 are also heated, and as soon as the transfer is executed, the magnetic toner 15 is fixed to the usual paper 25. In this way, the transfer and the fixation are executed by one process, therefore, the device can be made small in size.
