PURPOSE:To permit the titled device to remove bacteria efficiently even though they are submicron order particles and sterilize the bacteria collected in water by a method wherein the device is provided with a water film electric dust collector, collecting dust or bacteria in air supplied from a clean room into water, and a high-voltage pulse charge sterilizer, which sterilizes the bacteria in the water. CONSTITUTION:Air, taken out of a bio clean room 1, is pressurized by a fan 3, passed through an air duct 4 and is supplied into a water film electric dust collector 5. High-voltage impressing discharge is effected between discharging electrodes 7, 7 in the water film electric dust collector 5 by a high-voltage D.C. electric source 6 whereby dust and bacteria in the air are attracted to the surface of dust collecting electrodes and are collected efficiently by water film which flows down on the surface of the dust collecting electrodes, then, the air is cleaned and is returned into the bio clean room 1. Contaminated water, which flows down on the surface of the dust collecting electrode of the discharging electrode 7, is sent into a high-voltage pulse discharge sterilizer 12, high-voltage pulse discharge is effected from a high-voltage pulse electric source 13 into the contaminated water and the destruction of cells as well as sterilization of the bacteria, floating in the contaminated water, are effected whereby the contaminated water becomes clean water. The wreckages of the bacteria are removed in a filter 20 by filtration and the water is supplied into an overhead tank 17. |
