PURPOSE:To improve efficiency of work, by press contacting a rotary grindstone to the peripheral part of a rotating element member and forming a sloped surface through this press contact to a silicon peripheral surface of the element member. CONSTITUTION:An element member 11 is coaxially mounted with the side of its anode 12 at a face-to-face position to the mounting surface of a holding bed 15, and a grindstone 16 is rotated simultaneously the holding bed 15 is rotated further moved forward, then the peripheral part of a silicon element 13 of the element member 11, held to the holding bed 15, is press contacted to the peripheral surface of the grindstone 16 and ground. In this way, since a sloped surface of silicon element 13 can be formed by a press contact of the grindstone, the sloped surface can be aligned to the peripheral surface of the grindstone and obtained with an accurate sloped angle and good quality as compared with that through injection machining, and efficiency of work can be improved. |
