PURPOSE:To prevent data in a media access control part from stagnation or overlap by sending data directly from a link control part. CONSTITUTION:A link control process part 4 executes link control processing and transfers data to a transmission process part 5. Receiving a transmission command from a media access control process part 8, the process part 5 sends the data to the process part 8 and a transmitter/receiver 3 and sets up a timer 7. The timer 7 is reset by receiving a reception check command. When the transmitter/receiver 3 receives the data, an address filter 9 transmits the data in a prescribed address to the process part 4 through a receiving process part 6. The receiving data are sent also to the process part 8, which determines the timing for transmitting data on the basis of the transmitting and receiving data and sends the transmission command to the transmission process part 5.
