NEW MATERIAL:Krebs statika (KBS for short) (an antitumor substance derived from human) (molecular weight: 82,000+ or -10,000; isoelectric point: 6.5+ or -0.5). USE:An antitumor substance. PREPARATION:A normal cell of a monocyte cell (e.g., cancerized cell of monocyte macrophage system derived from human, etc.) which is treated with the first irritation substance (conditioned culture solution of lymphocyte system or lyophoblast system, chemical substance differentiating and inducting leukocyte, natural extract, etc.) in a tissue culture system or its cancerized cell is treated with the second irritation substance (endotoxin obtained from Gram-positive or Gram-negative bacteria; polysaccharide, etc. derived from Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, etc. to give KBS, and it is collected. KBS is orally or parenterally administered. A daily dose is >=10,000 units/person. A cytotoxic effect on normal human cell is hardly observed. |
