PURPOSE:To make an operator recognize an operating state of a printing device by providing two graphic command counters, comparing and calculating the output values from these counters, and displaying them as occasion calls. CONSTITUTION:A graphic command is sent to an interface processor 2 from a host device 1, and by the first graphic command counter, the number of graphic commands of one page portion is counted. A graphic picture-drawing processor 3 develops one graphic command to a dot image, and sends a signal to the second graphic command counter 6, whenever a picture is drawn to a video memory 4. By its signal, the counter 6 is brought to decrement from the number of commands sent from a counter 5 in advance. A comparing arithmetic part 7 compares and calculates percentage of a graphic command processing of one page portion as occasion calls, based on a value which is sent from the counter 5 and the counter 6, and its result is displayed by a display panel 8. |
