PURPOSE:To reproduce only audio information by executing EFM servo operation in a video area when a disk having a different color system is set up in a CDV disk reproducing device to which a video signal and a PCM signal are superposed. CONSTITUTION:When a disk 1 having different color TV system is set up in the CDV disk reproducing device, a system controller 27 switches the servo of a spindle motor 2 to the same EFM servo as a CD area, inhibits the output of video signal from a video information demodulating system 7 and displays the setting of the disk with the different system on a display part. In said constitution, the video information can not be reproduced, but the audio information can be normally reproduced.
