PURPOSE:To improve the accuracy of a yoke by the constitution of a semiring- shaped dummy core whose sectional form projects in the axial direction and the radial direction in comparison with that of the core, and in which a contracting operation of the sectional form is made possible and by winding a coil on the dummy core and after that, by removing the coil through contracting the dummy core. CONSTITUTION:A coil is wound on a dummy core 1. At this time, a movable part 11 and another movable part 12 of the dummy core 1 are set at each traveling end in each advancing direction. After winding is finished, some elec tric current is applied to the conducting wire so as to slightly melt resin coated on the wre and to give forming strength to the coil. Subsequently, the reciprocat ing devices 3 and 30 are operated to make the movable parts 11 and 12 to retreat to the side of the core main body 10 to produce gaps between the dum my core 1 and the coil 61 and take off the coil 61 from the dummy core 1. Then, the core 60 is inserted being rotated into the inside of the coil 61. Further, the joining surface 62 of the core 60 and the inner surface of the coil 61 are joined and fixed with an adhesive. Thereby, a deflection yoke 6 of high perfor mance with no dispersion in quality can be formed.
