In order to be able to produce a packaging in which to carry ice cream cones, this consists of a rectangular piece of cardboard (Fig. 1), which is provided with fold lines 19-28, which all run parallel to one another at an interval from one another such that rectangular pieces 1, 2, 5, 6, 7, 9, 10, 12 are formed, which when folded form the carrying carton. This comprises a lower part consisting of a holder piece 2 with holes 16 for the ice cream cones, and two side pieces 5, 7 and a base piece 6. The upper part constitutes an extension of the one side piece 7 and comprises a top piece 9, a carrier piece 10 with finger hole 11, a further top piece 12 and at the end of this a locking flap 13, which can engage with a cut-out 3 in the transition between the holder piece 2 and the one side piece 5. <IMAGE>
