PURPOSE:To remove unnecessary switching at the connection of a TV image receiver to a line output by inhibiting the switching of an RF signal changeover switch in a reproducing mode when connection to a line output terminal is detected. CONSTITUTION:The changeover switch 6 selects an RF signal from an antenna 1, video signal or an audio signal obtained from an RF converter 5 under control by a control circuit 7 and supplies the selected signal to the RF input terminal of the TV image receiver. On the other hand, a line input terminal for directly inputting a reproducing base bands of a video circuit 3 and an audio circuit 4 is formed on the TV image receiver, and when the line output terminals 12, 13 are connected to the terminal, a connection detecting part 14 detects the connection. When the connection is detected, a switching inhibit switch 9 is turned off to inhibit the switching operation of the switch 6 based upon the control circuit 7.
