PURPOSE:To prevent power from being consumed wastefully on account of failure to switch-off the compulsory operation of a drain pump and a noise from being generated by providing connection selecting means capable of connecting the drain pump directly to a power supply and separating it from a control part. CONSTITUTION:At the time of a normal operation, a connector 9 for connecting is connected to a connector 6 for a normal operation. When drain water within a drain pan increases extraordinarily, a float switch 10 operates to cut off the connection between a transformer 5 and a power supply 7, and the operation of the air conditioner by a control portion and the operation of a motor 11 for the drain pump are stopped. After removing clogging and the like of a drain discharge pipe, the connector 9 for connecting is separated from the connector 6 for the normal operation and connected to a connector 8 for a trial operation, a motor 11 for the drain pump being directly connected to a power supply 7 to discharge drain water. Thereafter, the connector 9 for connecting is connected again to the connector 6 for the normal operation. In a case where the connector 9 for connecting is connected to the connector 8 for the trial operation to drive the motor 11 for the drain pump, the control portion 1 is not operated so that it is impossible that the drain pump is constantly kept running on account of failure to turn off a trial operation switch.
