PURPOSE:To obtain the titled body having good electrostatic chargeability and improved sensitivity by increasing potential attenuation due to irradiation of light by incorporating a polycyclic quinone pigment to an electrostatic charge generating layer and a specific diamine to an electrostatic charge transfer layer respectively. CONSTITUTION:The titled body is formed by laminating the electrostatic charge generating layer 2 and the electrostatic charge transfer layer 3 on a substrate 1 such as Al in this order. The layer 2 comprises the polycyclic quinone pigment such as dibromanthoanthrone shown by formula I. The layer 3 comprises the compd. shown by formula II. In formula II, R1-6 are each H, 1-4C alkyl group or Cl. The diamine shown by formula II is preferably exemplified by N,N'- diphenyl-N,N'-bis(methylphenyl)-[1,1'-biphenyl]-4,4'-d-iamine. The binder is preferably exemplified by polycarbonate. Thus, the titled body having good electrostatic chargeability and improved potential attenuation to irradiation of light and high sensitivity is obtd. |
