PURPOSE:To provide a device capable of controlling a main body of a combustion equipment by utilizing an electrical power line and facilitating its installation work by a method wherein a remote control circuit for operating an equipment having a bi-directional signal overlapping a pulse signal to the electrical power line is connected to the electrical power line and the pulse signal is transmitted or received with the electrical power line being applied as a signal transmitting path so as to control and supervise the combustion equipment. CONSTITUTION:Secret number signals of an address setting switch 7g of a combustion unit control circuit 7 and an address setting switch 8g of a remote control circuit 8 for operating an equipment can be transmitted and received to each other. A remote control switch 8h is operated to generate a pulse signal from a bi-directional signal transmitting circuit 8m and a high harmonic signal is overlapped at its zero phase with a voltage waveform of a power supply for the electrical power line. The harmonic wave signal is received by a control circuit 7 for the combustion equipment of the main body 1 of the outer combustion equipment and as it confirms that an address of the remote control unit 3 is coincided with a self station address of the main body 1 of the combustion equipment, a micro-computer 7f for use in controlling the equipment may operate the equipment controlling and operating circuit 7h to instruct a control for operation of the main body 1 of the combustion equipment. In this way, the pulse signal is transmitted or received as a harmonic wave signal and a control and supervising operation coinciding with the instruction data code between the remote control unit 3 and the main body 1 of the combustion equipment.
