PURPOSE:To realize a unification of a message and a reduction of a storage capacity, and to easily execute a replacement, etc. of the message, by containing the messages in a lump in the inside of a system. CONSTITUTION:A message number which has been allocated to plural message data 7e from an OS 7a, an AP 1.7b, a user program, etc. is given as a parameter to a message display system. In this way, by an address of a message data corresponding to the message number which has been registered in a message index 7d, a necessary message is displayed. Also, in case of adding a message, it is added to a final position of a storage area of the message data 7e. In this way, a unification of the message and a reduction of a storage capacity can be realized, and a replacement, etc. of the message can be executed easily.
