PURPOSE:To increase a processing speed at the time of receiving a data by executing a parity check, based on a table of a parity bit table store means of a receiving data, at the time of receiving a data with a parity bit. CONSTITUTION:The titled processor is provided with a table store means A which has stored a table of a data obtained by adding a parity bit PB to a data received from a host. A deciding means B generates a receiving data which has eliminated the PB from the received data with the PB, this receiving data is used as a parameter and a data with the PB corresponding to the received data with the PB is read out. This read-out data with the PB and the received data with the PB are compared and a parity check is executed. Unless the received data with the PB has an error, the means B stores its data in a receiving buffer C.
