PURPOSE:To enhance the easiness to assemble and raise the bond strength in a fastening tool of an electric drill or driver by securing a fixing member for a shaft and taper bushing using a resilient member which is to be in pressure contact with the inner surface of the open end of taper bushing. CONSTITUTION:A handle 3 is pressure fitted on a cylindrical shaft 1, and a float screw 6 is driven in a female screw 13. A pawl 5 to fasten a tool 4 has a tapered external surface, and the rear end is equipped with a detent piece 50 to be detained with a groove provided in said float screw 6. A ring-shaped cap 16 as fixing member is installed between the outside surface of the shaft 1 and the internal surface of the taper bushing 25. A washer 17 of ethylene tetrafluoride resin is furnished between this cap 16 and a flange at the tip of the shaft 1, and a wheel 18 is fitted in groove 27. This constitution provides easiness to assemble.
