PURPOSE:To conduct cutting work by a logical variation, etc. easily and rapidly without being affected by the structure of a printed wiring substrate by mounting terminals to an IC socket case in the vertical two directions and forming insulating-pin inserting holes capable of making and breaking connections among both terminals. CONSTITUTION:An IC connecting section connected to IC pins inserted, upper terminals conducted with the IC connecting section and fitted in the direction of the insertion of an IC, lower terminals normally brought into contact and conducted with the upper terminals and set up on the wiring substrate side, and a make and break connecting section insulating the terminals by inserting insulating pins into pin inserting holes regarding contacts among these lower terminals and upper terminals are mounted to an IC socket. The upper IC socket terminals 4 and the lower IC socket terminals 5 are formed to an IC socket case 3. The insulating-pin inserting holes 6 are shaped at positions where the upper IC socket terminals 4 and the lower IC socket terminals 5 are brought into contact by springs. Accordingly, cutting work is conducted by inserting the insulating pins 7 into the insulating-pin inserting holes 6, and wiring work is performed by wiring wire rods 8 to the upper IC socket terminals 4.
