<p>Device for keratotomy using an operating laser, of which the beam (11) can be applied to the cornea (2), and comprising, in its beam path, a diaphragm mask (6) which delimits the area of the cornea illuminated. The device is characterized in that the diaphragm mask (6) is held in a support (1) rigidly secured to the eye-ball (4) and that the beam (11) of the operating laser illuminates at least part of the area (7) permeable to the light of the said laser, as well as the surrounding region of the mask (6). In this way it is possible, even in the case of movements of the eye during cutting, to ensure a precise delimitation of the cut and a specific relationship between the number of shots, the shot power and cutting depth.</p> |
