<p>A video color correction system including a window generator (186, 188) to limit the area color corrected. The window generator includes a circuit to make the color changes across the outline of the window gradual. The color corrector includes a hue detector (184) which is variable in both the selected hue and the width of hues selected. A saturation detector (244, 252, 254, 256, 258) can be used to further limit the areas selected for correction. The corrector can be used in a scene by scene programmable system that includes an auxiliary monitor (52) displaying scenes previously color corrected that allows recall of the color corrections from earlier scenes.</p> |
