The invention relates to a securing device, configured as a pull-off lug, for fire-extinguisher fittings. The aim of the invention lies in the reduced-cost production of a securing device with increased functional reliability. According to the invention, this aim is achieved in that the legs, enclosing the actuating element, of the securing device are brought together with a connecting web which ruptures in a defined manner when subjected to tensile loading in the pull-off direction (Figure 2). <IMAGE>
