The aim of the invention is to reduce the technical expenditure in a manual drive on printing machines. The object of the invention, to provide a manual drive for printing machines having a hydraulic drive which can be started up by an operator without auxiliary energy and does not require cumbersome safety measures, is achieved in that a manual drive gearing is arranged on the machine frame by means of releasable connection elements, said manual drive gearing consisting of a gearing housing with an internally toothed outer gear and an externally toothed inner gear which is operatively connected to the internally toothed outer gear, is connected via a compensating coupling to a gear of the train of synchronising gears, and is mounted on an eccentric connected to the crank handle and mounted in the gearing housing.
