Rack/turning-folding table

The starting point for the development of the rack/turning-folding table is the acute shortage of space in many living and working rooms. With the rack/turning-folding table, moreover, a practical alternative is to be provided to tables which are of lightweight construction and less stable. The turning-folding table, which is built into a rack, is of such solid design, in wood, metal or plastic, that it can even withstand extreme mechanical stresses. It can be set up or folded in and turned back into the rack within seconds by anyone and without the use of tools. In the long rack, which is of low design so as to be convenient as regards window light, the folded-up table takes up only about 1/5 of the entire interior space. Consequently, the rack can also be used adequately as a piece of furniture in which items can be stored. The compartment utilisation is variable, which is advantageous for manufacturers and users: the rack compartments can be open, closed by doors or equipped with smaller drawers and have a variety of domestic, leisure and occupational uses.
